Coastal Plains Raceway opened in 1999 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, as part of Coastal Plains Park, which includes a dragstrip founded by Troy Humphrey in 1973. The facility closed for nearly seven years between 2014 and 2021. Anthony and Tonya Goodyear reopened the track in 2021, renaming it Goodyear All-American Speedway and later New River All-American Speedway in 2023.
The track closed again in May 2025 before reopening in August 2025 under new management by Steve Zacharias and Speedway Plus Productions LLC. The facility returned to its original Coastal Plains Raceway name and logo. Dale Earnhardt Jr. competed at the track in the 2024 CARS Tour race, drawing one of the largest crowds in facility history.
Located in Jacksonville, North Carolina, the 0.400-mile asphalt tri-oval features 12 degrees of banking in turns and 5 degrees on straightaways. The facility has a capacity of 6,000 with 10 VIP suites, two concession stands, and a two-bay technical building.
Coastal Plains Raceway operates under Ultra Racing Association sanctioning and hosts SMART Modified Tour, CARS Tour, Late Models, Super Trucks, Street Stocks, Legends, and various regional divisions. Races stream on Ultra Broadcasting.
