Kaeden Ballos turned a strong weekend into hardware at Orange County Speedway on October 12, 2024, winning the first feature of the Triple 50s in Late Model competition. The team unloaded with a balanced car, made smart adjustments through the afternoon, and delivered when it counted under the lights.
The program moved quickly with short practice windows, so execution mattered. Kaeden and the crew focused on entry stability and forward drive off, making small, measured changes rather than chasing the setup. By the time the pace laps rolled, the No. __ was predictable on turn-in and put power down cleanly off the corner—exactly what you want at OCS.
On the start, Kaeden settled into rhythm, protecting his marks and building heat evenly in the tires. Restarts were decisive all night. With traffic tight and passing at a premium, he used controlled brake release and early throttle pick-up to clear cars off Turn 2 and protect position into Turn 3. Mid-stint, the balance stayed with him: the car rotated without getting tail-happy, and drive off late in the run separated him from the pack.
