Kaeden Motorsports spent the day connecting racing with the classroom at a community STEAM Expo in Concord, NC. With the No. 19 on display, Kaeden signed autographs, answered questions, and spent time with families rotating through hands-on stations focused on science and engineering.
The event featured make-and-take activities for K–12 students—everything from basic chemistry demonstrations to robotics, aerodynamics, traction and friction lessons, and a kid-friendly scavenger hunt. The goal was simple: show how concepts taught in school power real-world problems at the racetrack.
Kaeden leaned into that message all afternoon. He walked kids around the car and broke down what they were seeing: how a race tire builds grip, why brake cooling matters, how a small aero change can help the car turn, and what a crew looks for during pre-race checks. The question he heard most—“How fast does it go?”—turned into quick talks about speed vs. control, safety gear, and respect for the track.
Between Q&As, Kaeden posed for photos, signed hero cards, and thanked the teachers and volunteers who keep programs like this alive. Dozens of students tried on a spare set of gloves, sat in the seat for a picture, and left with a new understanding that math and physics aren’t abstract—they help win races.
Events like this are important to our team for two reasons. First, they grow the next generation of fans and crew members right here in the Charlotte/Concord area. Second, they let us give back to the community that supports local short-track racing all season long. If you stopped by the display—thank you. If you’re a parent, teacher, or sponsor who wants Kaeden at your next school night or community event, we’d love to talk.
